Kelso Wheelers Contacts, News and Results

A new cycling club has been formed in Kelso.

The aims of the club are to promote all types of cycling in the area, and, in the future, hopefully, to develop some form of open events.

Club leisure runs are held at various times through the week and further details can be obtained by contacting Colin Dumma (01573 224117) or Abbey Fitness Centre (01573 228280).

Mountain bike runs are organised by Kevin Welsh (01573 228785) or (01573 228280). These rides are on Wednesdays and start in mid-May. They are held every two weeks.
Those wishing to take part should meet (in cars) at the Abbey Fitness Centre no late than 6.25pm.

Time trials are held every Monday evening starting in mid-April, and further details can be obtained from Alistair Hosie (01573 223169) or Gary Knox (01573 226751).
Those wishing to take part should meet at the car park of Woodside Park, off Drying House Lane, prepared to leave at 7.00pm.

There is an additional charge of 50p for members and 1 for non-members for these time trials.

Club members qualify for a 10% discount on certain spares and accessories at Simon Porteous Cycles, a discount package on a range of services from Ron Hastings, Solicitors & Estate Agents, and a winter mwmbership discount at Abbey Fitness Centre.

New members and visitors are extremely welcome at all events and all levels of fitness and ability will be catered for.
