Gareth, who is a joiner to trade, is the son of Doreen and Ian Ford. He has an older brother, Mark. A keen follower of the Kelso Laddie in previous years, he is a competent rider, and also plays football with Kelso Thistle. He will be supported by Andrew Haig and Kevin Wilson.
